Classroom Placement
Raymond School is committed to providing the best educational environment for our students. Each spring, teachers and administration meet to develop new classes for the upcoming year. Decisions are made on student placement that will provide the best environment for individual students and balance groupings for the classroom. Multiple factors are considered, including academic abilities, and the learning, social, and emotional needs of the children.
The final responsibility for classroom assignments lie with the school district, but parental input is important as the information shared will help determine the best placement for the child.
To facilitate this communication, parents may complete a Student Information Form, which is available in the office after May 7th and should be returned to the office by Friday, May 18. Completion of the form does not guarantee placement, only that your request will be considered with all other relevant factors. clssrmplcmntweb
