Facility Usage Fees

Definitions:

School facilities include classrooms, gymnasium, cafeteria/library, parking lots, outdoor fields, and any other buildings or property, which the school district might possess. The district reserves the right to request residency verification from any/all groups/participants. Preference will be given to those groups/participants that are a majority of Raymond District residents. Organizations or individuals using district facilities will be held responsible for costs of clean up or repair of damages resulting from use of a school facility.

Classification of Users:

Class 1-School Group, any group sponsored by or under the direction of Raymond school including PTO, Raymond School Foundation, Booster Club, Raymond School Alumni, or public meetings directly initiated by the School Board.

Class 2-Service/Local Groups

a.       Service Clubs, i.e. 4-H, etc.

b.      Civic Groups, i.e. RCBO, Raymond Baseball, etc.

c.       Church Groups, i.e. any adult group under the direction of a church located in the Raymond School District

d.      Other schools and school districts

e.       Any local group composed completely of young people working under the guidance and supervision of any adult or an adult organization, i.e. boy and girl scouts

f.        Any local youth athletic organization comprised of a majority of Raymond School District residents

g.      Any local adult athletic organization comprised of a majority of Raymond School District residents

Class 3-Commercial/Private, any individual or group organized for profit. Any group not classified as a Service Group or Local Group, but not for profit, that is not located in the school district.

Fees:

The Use of Facilities shall be on a rental basis depending on the classification of the group, the purpose of the specific activity planned, and the number of District staff necessary to ensure that the facility is properly maintained and supervised. The District reserves the right to determine the number of staff necessary for any given event. Facility rental fees are as follows:

Class 3 $15.00/$30.00 (1/2 gym or full)

Class 3 - $15.00 per classroom

Class 3 - $25.00 (Diamonds 2,3 & 4)

Class 3 - $25.00 (Cafeteria/Library)

Class 3 - $50.00 Computer Lab/Media Room

In addition to any facility rental fees, the hourly fees for all facility use for the District staff are as follows:

The undersigned, in consideration of the use of any part of the Raymond School District, agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Raymond School District #14 against and from any and all claims, demands, suits, causes of action, whether in law or equity or proceedings before an administrative agency, and/or damages, fines or forfeitures of any kind or nature, including costs, expenses and reasonable attorneys fees incurred in the defense thereof, brought by or on behalf of any person or persons, firm or firms, corporation or corporations, their heirs, personal representatives, successors or assigns arising out of any condition or conduct, management or negligence of the undersigned or any of its agents, contractors, servants, employees or licensees, and in case any action or proceeding be brought against the Raymond School District #14 by reasons of any such claim, the undersigned upon notice from the Raymond School District #14 covenants to resit or defend at the undersigned’s cost and expense such action or proceeding by counsel reasonable satisfactory to the Raymond School District #14.
