My name is Melissa Retzlaff and I work at Raymond as one of the Primary Special Education teachers since 2012. I have my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from UW-La Crosse with a Special Education emphasis. I find the most rewarding part of my job is experiencing the “Ah ha” moments when a student grasps a challenging concept and takes pride in their learning outcome. Outside of teaching, my husband and I enjoy traveling, running, reading, spending time with family and friends, and cheering for the Badgers and Packers! We have a beautiful daughter, Emerson, who brings so much joy and happiness to our lives.
