Today, our 8th graders had the opportunity to learn about financial literacy from volunteers at Community State Bank. During the engaging session, each student selected a career and created a budget based on their chosen annual salary. This hands-on experience helped them grasp the important distinction between needs and wants, equipping them with essential money management skills for the future. It was an eye-opening day that laid the groundwork for their financial literacy journey!

Kids Heart Challenge wraps up tomorrow! We are having a blast getting healthier and helping kids with special hearts! Please remember to send your K-5 students to school with their collection envelopes tomorrow or make your final online donations.

Our 6th-graders will see Mr. Science of their field trip tomorrow, but Jason Lindsey, aka "Mr. Science" will also be at the Golden Rondelle for a free Family Science Night program tonight! This evening program will be fun for the whole family and will be different from the daytime program your students will see.

It is the goal of our school board and administration to be transparent with our efforts, communications, and operations. With that transparency, there comes an increase in files, packets, agendas, and other important information. We are trying to find the best way to organize the documents and will be working to move all files in an organized and easy-to-find manner. WE ARE NOT REMOVING ANY FILES, BUT RATHER MOVING THEM.
There are three main folders that will be created: Pa...st Agendas, Past Minutes, and Past Packets. The current month information will be located front and center on the webpage entitled "Meeting Minutes and Agendas".
